This is the front of the this wonderful home.  You can see the charming front porch, large front yard, and huge garage.  The basketball hoop is just out of sight to the left of the frame. This is the back of the house.  The bay window above the deck is the master bedroom.  We just recently restored the deck .
This is the beautiful hardwood floor entry.  To the right of the frame is the Great Room where you can see the large bay window and window seat. This the family room.  The double doors at the back open on a closet with wooden shelves.  The other door on the left leads to the garage.  To the right of that door is a bathroom.  And across from the bathroom is a bedroom which we used as a guest room.  This room allows guests some space and close access to a bathroom.
This is the Great Room, which we think is an understatement.  :-)  Pictures just do not do this fireplace justice.  It is an immense, handcrafted, brick fireplace with a beautiful solid wood mantel.  You should see it decorated for Christmas with a fire going.  The huge picture window on this side looks out onto the back yard. This is the Great Room from the opposite direction.  This bay window and window seat look out over the front yard.  Also notice the glorious wood vaulted ceiling.
This is the wonderfully large family kitchen.  You can't beat it for counter or cabinet space.  It makes cooking a delight!  Several people can be in the kitchen at the same time without getting in each other's way. This is another view of the kitchen, showing the view out the beautiful window over the sink.  If you look carefully out the window, you can see the children's playset in a corner out in the back yard.
This is the walk-in pantry off the kitchen.  This kitchen doesn't need any more cabinet space, but why not?  The more the merrier, right?  There are also deep wooden shelves on the right wall out of frame and you can just see a second water hookup on the back wall where another appliance besides the main refrigerator could be placed. This is the dining area, just off the kitchen, with a hanging chandelier and beautiful view out to the back yard.  The renovated deck is in the background.

This is the awesome den upstairs with its own fireplace and magnificent floor-to-ceiling wooden bookshelves.  Additionally, there is a small room hidden behind those bookshelves.   Very cool!  :-)  You just have to experience it for yourself.

This is the master bedroom.  Those gorgeous bay windows look out over the back yard.  You can wake up to the most amazing, colorful sunrises.  We have never seen such beautiful sunrises as we have here.  The door to the left goes to the den and there is a door to the right, which is the private bathroom.  There is also a large, attached, walk-in closet with built-in wooden bookshelves.
This is one of the other bedrooms upstairs.  It is hard to get a good picture of the bedrooms.  They are big rooms with large windows of their own and all of them have roomy closets. This is the large, full bathroom upstairs with the his and hers sinks, and extra large mirror.
This is the front yard.  Around the edge of the yard in the distance is a landscaped stone wall and beyond that a beautiful sea of ivy.  Off to the right are some small steps that lead up to a private, little alcove under the trees.

This is the back yard with a visiting deer.  We have enjoyed frequent visits by numerous deer (bucks, does, and fawns), leading us to name the property Deerhaven.  Other wildlife visitors have included eagles, hawks, a large variety of other birds, rabbits, fox, and many others.

Also, one of our apple trees can be seen to the left of the frame.  The three apple trees provide a great amount of delicious fruit every year.

This is our gorgeous tree-lined driveway as viewed toward the house.  You can not even see the driveway from 218th nor tell the house is back there until you are on the driveway. This is the driveway  as viewed from the direction of the house.
We couldn't resist adding this picture of the rainbow.  Actually it is a double rainbow, but the second one is hard to see in this picture.   The sky over the back yard provides an amazing background for rainbows, which appear quite frequently. Last, but certainly not least, is the fabulous Mount Rainier.  This was taken from the house out over the back yard.
